• The bed has a round indentation, so the perfectly round Donguri figures won't roll away when lying down. The furniture is sized just right for them.
• With soft curves and a warm wood texture, it can be combined with the Donguri House and Donguri Korokoro figures to expand the world of pretend play.
• The paint and adhesive meet Japanese and international safety standards and are safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

Used together with the Donguri House, it makes for even more authentic pretend play. Collect both the Dining Set and the Bedroom Set to bring the everyday life of the Donguri family to life.

Sustainable Craftsmanship with Local Wood

The Donguri Furniture is made from quality hinoki cypress grown in Saitama Prefecture. It combines the characteristic grain and knots of hinoki with a soft form defined by its curves.

We make a point of using Japanese wood, especially timber from our own region. Beyond nurturing healthy forests and giving back to the local community, it also reduces the petroleum fuel used in transport. We hope to keep making toys that contribute to a sustainable society, and to pass this on to children naturally through play.

Q. Can it be used with dolls other than Donguri Korokoro?
A. The bed has an indentation that fits the round shape of Donguri Korokoro perfectly and keeps them from rolling. It can be used with other dolls too, but its size and shape are made to suit Donguri Korokoro and friends best.

A. The paint used (Osmo Color Normal Clear) is safe even if licked; once dry, the coating complies with German industrial standard DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive is the highly safe Titebond III (FDA-approved in the US, ASTM D4236 compliant).
