Comomg Shop & Café

Comomg Shop & Café is a wooden toy store located at our head office in Ryoke, Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. It brings together a shop, cafemg, and a Wood Play Space, and from inside the store you can see our workshop where the toys are made.

A Store Where You Can See Toys Being Made

At our store, located alongside our head office and workshop, you can feel the atmosphere of toymaking through the sound of wood being shaped and the scent of wood. We want the children who visit to feel that making things is fun. That wish is what gave birth to this place. Our staff are also happy to explain our products in detail and show you how to care for wooden toys.

Shop

You can pick up and choose from Comomg's wooden toys, including Donguri Korokoro. Please come and feel the texture and weight of solid wood and hear the gentle sound the toys make as they roll. We also offer items that are only available at our own store.

cafemg

In addition to coffee brewed from our own roasted beans, we offer juice, light meals, and baked goods. There are also treats you can only find at Comomg, such as Donguri Korokoro cookies. Please relax and take your time in a space surrounded by wooden toys.

Wood Play Space

This is a space where children can play to their heart's content with wooden toys. Anyone using the shop or cafemg is welcome to use it. Children cannot use the space on their own, so please come with a parent or guardian. We also accept inquiries about reserving the space exclusively for events and other occasions.

Factory Tours & Workshops

Factory tours

Factory tours are held by reservation every Saturday and on public holidays (except those falling on a Monday or Sunday). You can see up close how wooden toys are made.

Workshop "Let's Make Donguri Korokoro"

In this workshop, you make your own Donguri Korokoro by hand. Reservations are accepted at any time.

Access

We recommend coming by car. There is parking for about 2 cars in front of the store.

If you are coming by train and bus, take a Kokusai Kogyo bus bound for the Ryoke area from, for example, the East Exit of JR Kawaguchi Station or the East Exit of JR Akabane Station. The store is about a 3-minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Please check Google Maps for detailed directions.
