Soft curves and warm wood surface are the characteristics of this house. The roof is sloped at the same angle as the slope dedicated to acorns, allowing the acorns to move around and play. It is slim and only 20 cm deep, so it looks cute displayed on a desk or in a bay window. It is highly recommended as an interior decoration!

Sustainable manufacturing using local trees

House of Acorns is made of high quality Japanese cypress from Saitama Prefecture. The texture of the wood grain and knots unique to hinoki and the soft form with its characteristic curves. The roof is also finished in a traditional Japanese vermilion color, designed to match the Japanese cypress.

We are committed to using Japanese wood, especially wood from the local area around us. We hope that we can continue to make toys that are an effort toward a sustainable society and pass them on to children through play and nature.
