October has arrived.
Here at Comomg, things are getting a little busy ahead of Christmas.
We're making our best-selling item, "Donguri Korokoro," almost every day now.
Our wooden toys go through some machine processing,
but in the end, most of the work is done by hand.
Even Donguri's nose is put together
one piece at a time, carefully, by Comomg's own staff.
On days when we're doing this work,
the sound of hammering in the noses echoes through the workshop all day long.
It's the same task, repeated quietly over and over,
but since it's wood, every grain is different,
and each face comes out with a slightly different expression,
so it never gets boring — we genuinely enjoy it.
