It's that time of year when we start thinking about Christmas presents.

Wooden toys are often chosen as gifts and keepsakes for special occasions.
This time, we'd like to focus on the charm of wooden toys.
Wooden toys have so much to offer.
One of their charms is that they're "sturdy and hard to break."
Wood has excellent flexibility and strength, so it doesn't break easily.
With a little care along the way, a wooden toy can be passed down and enjoyed across two, even three generations.
And as time passes, the wood's texture changes and takes on a deeper, richer character.
It's not just the toy itself that gets handed down — the memories go along with it.
We think this is one of the reasons wooden toys have been loved throughout the ages, no matter the era.
Even so, some parts naturally wear down over the years, and there are things a family can't fix on their own at home.
At comomg, we offer repairs for our own products so you can keep enjoying them for even longer.
"The rubber part on our Donguri Korokoro has worn down and it doesn't roll as smoothly anymore."
"The cork part has become worn and crumbly."
We hear requests like these from time to time, and often a little bit of touch-up work is all it takes to bring a toy back to life.

These Dooru toys had come apart into separate pieces, but we put them back together, and they returned home looking just like new ☻

The cork on the bottom had worn down from lots of play, so we replaced it with new rubber, and it was soon toddling along happily again!
For products no longer in production, we may not always have parts in stock — but before deciding a toy "can't be used anymore," please feel free to reach out to us first!
