Oh, but before that, the humid rainy season will begin...☔
Today we'd like to talk about the colors of Comomg's wooden toys 🌈
Lately, more and more toys come in muted, dusty colors.
Since they blend so nicely with home interiors, I get the feeling moms in particular love them.
(Personally, I love muted colors too...!)
However, Comomg's wooden toys are mostly primary colors.
Red, blue, yellow, green...
Newborn babies can only faintly make out black and white.
From there their vision develops rapidly, and it's said that primary colors provide better stimulation than pale colors, helping to support brain development 🌈
Above all, babies themselves are happiest with colors of high brightness and primary colors, since they're easier for them to see.
That's exactly why so many baby items are colorful.
Not just toys — taking a walk and seeing the colors of nature is also great stimulation for the brain ☺️
Comomg's wooden toys are primary-colored, and because they're made of "wood,"
you can enjoy them with all five senses — what do they smell like? Are they smooth? What do they taste like? (We use paint that's safe even if licked.) 🌳
*Donguri Korokoro is recommended for independent play from age 3 — or from around 1 year and 6 months old when playing together with an adult.
We use 【Osmo Color】 paint!
It's a natural paint made from plant-based oils such as sunflower oil.
It's safe even if licked, but since it can make the wood more prone to cracking,
please wipe it with a dry cloth and let it dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated spot 😊
Comomg's toys aren't limited to primary colors — we actually also have a pastel-colored wooden toy called "Buriki Robo" (Tin Robot)!
...However, it is currently out of production, so we'll be sure to introduce "Buriki Robo" again once production resumes ♪
