"Neko Block Christmas" is a limited-edition Christmas version of the popular building block toy "Neko Block." It's a seasonal wooden toy featuring a white cat with green eyes, paired with L-shaped cargo pieces that allow for a variety of stacking arrangements.

• The cargo pieces are L-shaped, so depending on how you stack them, you can build shapes like a house or a tree — offering a more varied range of expression than other Neko Block editions.
• Crafted with the precision of Kawaguchi's mold-making tradition, komomg's own backbone technique, and made from thoroughly dried, high-quality wood, it's built to last.
• The paint and adhesive meet Japanese and international safety standards that are safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

It may look tricky to balance, but there's a wide range to enjoy — from simple stacking arrangements even little ones can manage, to intricate compositions that will absorb adults too. Wonderful as a toy, and equally charming as interior decor or a gift.

Q. Why is it recommended for ages 5 and up?
A. The L-shaped cargo pieces include small parts that require care to prevent choking hazards, so it's recommended for ages 5 and up. For children under 5, please make sure a caregiver supervises at all times.

Q. What kinds of shapes can I build?
A. By combining the L-shaped pieces, you can enjoy a variety of stacking arrangements, including house shapes and tree shapes. From simple to complex, it's engaging for children and adults alike.

Q. Is the paint and adhesive safe?
A. The paint used (Osmo Color, Garden Color / Normal Clear) is safe even if licked. Once dry, the coating meets the German industrial standard DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive used, Titebond III, is also highly safe (FDA-approved in the US, compliant with ASTM D4236).

Q. When is it sold?
A. It's not guaranteed, but it has been manufactured around Christmas in the past. Production for 2026 is currently undecided. (Past production years: 2022, 2025)
