– Features –

• The top hat makes the head a little larger, so Donguri Papa rolls down the slope a bit more slowly than the regular Donguri Korokoro. This gentle movement is easy for little ones whose eyesight is still developing to follow with their eyes, and the big hat is easy to spot too.
• Children's hand movements are still less developed than adults', and their hands can be slippery with sweat — but the acorn cap's ridge is shaped to be easy for small hands to grip firmly.
• As it rolls down the slope, the glass ball inside knocks against the wood and makes a pleasant "koto-koto" sound — a signature feature shared across the whole Donguri Korokoro series.
• The paint and glue are certified safe under Japanese and international safety standards, safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

Its body is the same size as the regular Donguri Korokoro, but its head is larger by the height of the top hat. Tilt the base just slightly to make a slope, and it will sway from side to side as it slowly makes its way down. Any flat, board-like material works for the slope — a tray, a serving tray, or even a picture book will do.

The recommended age is 3 years and up. Its movement is slow, so if an adult moves it for them, children can enjoy it together from around the crawling stage.

We also recommend displaying it side by side with "Donguri Mama," with her hair in a bun, or giving the two as a pair. The glue used, Titebond III, is also highly safe (FDA-approved in the US, ASTM D4236 compliant).
