Buriki Robo is a wooden robot that moves by winding a spring. Turn the crown on its side, and it slowly begins to walk, swaying gently from side to side. Its neck wobbles a little, so its head sways along with each step.

－　Development Story　－

Most wooden toys are designed for infants and toddlers around ages 0 to 3, and there are actually very few wooden toys made for children old enough to choose their own toys. Buriki Robo was born from a desire to create a toy that even those slightly older children would want to pick out for themselves.

Wind-up toys are also something nostalgic for adults. By making a toy that adults can enjoy together with children, not just children on their own, we hoped it might become a natural way for adults to get involved in their children's play.
