Donguri Kabuto・Kuwagata/ Helmet set

■Donguri Kabuto Series

2026 production is sold out.

A dignified kabuto helmet on its own — "Donguri Kabuto Kuwagata (Helmet Only)." Place it on your Donguri Korokoro (sold separately) to enjoy a decoration fitting for Tango no Sekku, the Boys' Festival (Children's Day).

－　Features　－

• The kabuto attaches securely to your Donguri Korokoro (sold separately) with a cord. It is also easy to remove, so you can enjoy the helmeted look only when you display it.
• A helmet that brings out the beauty of the wood itself, making the most of the natural tones of maple, walnut, and zelkova.
• This item is made not as a toy but as a wooden decorative piece. Because of its delicate construction, it is meant to be displayed and cherished. As it contains small parts, please have an adult present when placing it within reach of small children (see the FAQ below for details).
• The paint and adhesive meet Japanese and international safety standards and are safe even if licked.

A helmet-only set, perfect for those who already own a Donguri Korokoro or want to add just the helmet. The base and byōbu (folding screen) are included, so you can enjoy the helmeted display from the day it arrives. If you would like the Donguri Korokoro figure as well, we also offer a set including Donguri Korokoro.

Perfect not only for celebrating the festival, but also as a gift for a new baby, for friends, or for people overseas. Each year when you display it, it will surely bring back the feelings with which it was given.

A. This item is made not as a toy but as a wooden decorative piece, and its construction is delicate. It is meant to be displayed and enjoyed. As it contains small parts, please have an adult present when placing it within reach of small children, to prevent accidental swallowing.

Q. Is Donguri Korokoro included?
A. This is a helmet-only set; the Donguri Korokoro figure itself is not included. It is intended for those who already own a Donguri Korokoro or who will purchase one separately. If you would like the Donguri Korokoro figure as well, we also offer a set.

Q. Can the kabuto be removed?
A. Yes. The kabuto is placed on Donguri Korokoro with a cord and can be removed. As it is delicately made, please handle it gently and with care.

Q. When is it sold?
A. Pre-orders usually open around December each year. Production every year is not guaranteed, and it may become unavailable once sold out.

Q. Are the paint and adhesive safe?
A. We use a paint that is safe even if licked (Osmo Color Normal Clear). Once dry, the coating complies with the German industrial standard DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive is the highly safe Titebond III (FDA-approved in the US, ASTM D4236 compliant).
