Charity Donguri Kinoko

For every unit sold, we donate ¥700 to support children. Comomg works under the philosophy "For better smiles for children." We sincerely hope for a world where all children can live in safety.

The donations are planned to go to Save the Children and will be used to support children around the world (not only in Ukraine).

－　Features　－

• The shape is the same as Donguri Kinoko, but it has a special design in light blue and yellow, the colors of Ukraine. We have adopted these as the symbolic colors of this charity project, which wishes for peace for children around the world.
• As it goes down a slope, the glass ball inside taps against the wood with a pleasant "koto-koto" sound, and its slow rolling movement is easy to follow even for little ones whose eyesight is still developing.
• Young children's hand movements are not yet as skilled as adults', and their hands get sweaty and slippery, but Donguri Kinoko's soft form fits nicely in the hand.
• The paint and adhesive meet Japanese and international safety standards and are safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

Color Concept

After hearing the news of the invasion of Ukraine in March 2022, we wondered whether there was anything we could do for children, and created this design in light blue and yellow, the colors of Ukraine. Our support is no longer limited to Ukraine, but wishing for peace for children around the world, we have decided to use this color scheme as the concept colors of our charity items.

－　FAQ　－

Q. How are the donations used?
A. For every unit sold, we donate ¥700 to Save the Children, where it goes toward their general child support activities in Japan and around the world (the support is not limited to Ukraine). We publish our donation record on this page as it is updated.

Q. From what age can children play with it?
A. It is recommended for ages 3 and up. Even children under 3 can enjoy its cute rolling movement down the slope when an adult sets it in motion for them.

Q. What kind of sound does it make?
A. As it goes down the slope, the glass ball taps against the wood, making a pleasant wooden "koto-koto" sound.

Q. Are the paint and adhesive safe?
A. We use a paint that is safe even if licked (Osmo Color Garden Color). Once dry, the coating complies with the German industrial standard DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive is the highly safe Titebond III (FDA-approved in the US, ASTM D4236 compliant).
