A big-sized acorn is born! This is the oversized version of "Donguri Korokoro," the wooden toy featuring an acorn-hat character that walks charmingly down a slope. This version is made in natural wood tones, in 5 species: zelkova, purpleheart, hinoki, bubinga, and maple. Offered in limited quantities.

－ Features －

• About 8 times the size of the standard Donguri Korokoro, with a movement that's just as dynamic. The "koto-koto" sound it makes rolling down a slope resonates on a much bigger scale, giving it an impressive presence as it wobbles down.
• Left uncolored, finished only with clear coating so the wood's own natural tones create the contrast. Enjoy the beautiful colors and grain that differ from species to species.
• The paint and adhesive meet Japanese and international safety standards that are safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

Tilt the base slightly to create a slope, and Donguri Deka will wobble sweetly as it makes its way down. Since the standard "Donguri Saka" slope is a bit small for it, try using the large Donguri Saka, a picture book, or a piece of cardboard instead.

Beautiful even just displayed as a decorative piece, brightening up any room, and a lovely choice as a gift too.

－ FAQ －

Q. What age is it suitable for?
A. It's recommended for ages 5 and up. Since it's larger and heavier than the standard Donguri Korokoro (ages 3+), the recommended age has been set higher.

Q. Is there a difference between the wood species?
A. All five species — zelkova, purpleheart, hinoki, bubinga, and maple — are identical in size and function. Each species has its own color and grain, so please choose the look you like best.

Q. Is the Donguri Saka slope included?
A. No, it's not included. This is a set of the Donguri Deka figure only. For a slope, please use items around the house such as the large Donguri Saka, a picture book, or a piece of cardboard.

Q. Is the paint and adhesive safe?
A. The paint used (Osmo Color, Normal Clear) is safe even if licked. Once dry, the coating meets the German industrial standard DIN 53160 (saliva and sweat resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive used, Titebond III, is also highly safe (FDA-approved in the US, compliant with ASTM D4236).
