Donguri Kororo's Hina doll set, "Donguri Hina Ningyo." A beautiful wooden Hina doll set where the natural colors of the wood create a striking contrast.

• Odairi-sama and Ohina-sama are made from naturally different-colored woods — maple, walnut, zelkova, bubinga, and purple heart. Finished only with a clear coating and no staining, so you can enjoy the natural color contrast and beautiful grain of the wood itself.
• The byōbu (folding screen) doubles as a small slope, letting both Odairi-sama and Ohina-sama roll down it. Beyond simply being decorative, it offers the same "koto-koto" rolling motion unique to the Donguri Kororo series.
• Since small parts are included, please enjoy this together with an adult when small children are using it (see FAQ below for details).
• The paint and adhesives used meet domestic and international safety standards, safe even if licked.

Q. What age is this suitable for?
A. Since small parts such as glass beads are included, please enjoy this together with an adult to prevent choking hazards when small children are using it.

Q. Can you play with the byōbu too?
A. Yes. The byōbu doubles as a small slope, so you can roll the Odairi-sama and Ohina-sama Donguri down it. Beyond decoration, you can enjoy the signature Donguri Kororo motion.

Q. When is this sold?
A. While not guaranteed, we typically manufacture this around Hinamatsuri (March 3rd) each year. Once sold out, it will not be available again until the next season, and there is a possibility it may not be manufactured in a future season either. (Past production years: 2022, 2023, 2025, 2026)

Q. Is the paint and adhesive safe?
A. The paint used (Osmo Color Normal Clear) is safe even if licked; once dry, the coating meets the German industrial standard DIN53160 (saliva and perspiration resistance test), the European toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standards). The adhesive used, Titebond III, is also highly safe (US FDA approved, compliant with ASTM D4236).
