This is a wooden robot driven by a wind-up mechanism. Turn the crown on its side and it begins to walk slowly, swaying from left to right. The Buriki Robot's neck is a little loose, so its head rocks gently in time with its steps. Most wooden toys are made for babies and toddlers, but this charming robot design will delight slightly older children too. The sound of the wind-up mechanism has a certain nostalgia about it as well, making it a toy that adults grow fond of — and so a gift that is sure to please.
