A "Natural Donguri" with a beautiful contrast made from the natural colors of wood. Donguri Korokoro, the wooden acorn toy that walks cutely down a slope, made from natural walnut and maple.

– Features –

• The cap is made of walnut, and the face of maple. Combining these two natural woods with different tones creates a beautiful contrast that brings out the character of the wood itself. Since it's finished only with a clear coat, you can enjoy the individuality of each piece's grain and tone just as it is.
• As it rolls down the slope, the little wooden ball inside knocks against the wood and makes a pleasant "koto-koto" sound, and its slow rolling motion is easy for little ones whose eyesight is still developing to follow with their eyes.
• Children's hand movements are still less developed than adults', and their hands can be slippery with sweat — but the acorn cap's ridge is shaped to be easy for small hands to grip firmly.
• The paint and glue are certified safe under Japanese and international safety standards, safe even if licked (see the FAQ below for details).

Tilt the base that Natural Donguri sits on just slightly to make a slope, and it will sway from side to side as it charmingly makes its way down. Any flat, board-like material works for the slope — a tray, a serving tray, or even a picture book will do.

Q. What age is it suitable for?
A. The recommended age is 3 years and up. Even for children younger than 3, they can enjoy watching its cute roll down the slope if an adult moves it for them.

Q. What kind of sound does it make?
A. As it rolls down the slope, the wooden ball inside knocks against the wood, making a pleasant "koto-koto" sound.

Q. Does it come with a slope?
A. This product includes only the Natural Donguri itself; the slope is not included. Any flat, board-like material can be used instead — try a tray, a serving tray, or a picture book.

Q. Are the paint and glue safe?
A. The paint used (Osmo Color Normal Clear) is safe even if licked, and once dry, the coating meets the German industrial standard DIN53160 (saliva/sweat resistance test), the EU toy safety standard EN71-3, and Japan's Food Sanitation Act (toy standard). The glue used, Titebond III, is also highly safety-tested (FDA-approved in the US, ASTM D4236 compliant).
