Uminy

Uminy (Uminī) is a toy for repeated play in which building blocks become a boat's cargo. Drop cargo (blocks) in through the top of the lighthouse, then sail the empty boat in through the back of the lighthouse and out the front — when it comes out, the boat's deck is loaded with cargo. Unload the cargo and sail back into the lighthouse, and this time it comes out carrying a different color of cargo. Once the lighthouse is empty of blocks, just drop more in from the top, sail the boat in, and sail it out again — you can play this way over and over.

• The mysterious trick of the boat coming out loaded with cargo after sailing into the lighthouse sparks your child's wish to "try it again."
• Uminy shares the same specifications as the "Tuminy" series, so it can be played with alongside Tuminy's trucks and garage. Combining different ways of playing with the same blocks — delivering cargo carried by truck to the next town by boat, or using cargo unloaded from the boat to build a road for the truck — naturally expands pretend play and imagination.
• The boat is designed to enter from behind the lighthouse and sail out the front, a different way of retrieving cargo than the truck, which backs into the garage. Even within the same kind of "repeat play," the change in movement and viewpoint helps develop fine motor skills and creative problem-solving.
• We use quality hinoki cypress sourced from Saitama Prefecture. By making use of local timber, we aim for sustainable craftsmanship that supports healthy forest growth, gives back to the local region, and reduces the fuel used in transport.
• The paint used on Uminy's blocks and boat meets Germany's strict safety standards. Everything is also manufactured in-house, so it's a toy you can trust and enjoy for a long time.

A. Yes. Uminy shares the same block and truck specifications as the Tuminy series, so you can play with them together right away. Combining the truck and boat expands the range of pretend cargo-delivery play.

Q. From what age can this be enjoyed?
A. We recommend around age 3, but the simple action of sailing the boat in and out of the lighthouse can also be enjoyed by younger children together with an adult.

Q. When is it sold?
A. It is sold as an irregular seasonal re-release. We'll announce the timing via Comomg's official website and social media once it's decided.
