Today we'd like to introduce our new product, "Donguri Hina Ningyo"🎎
Donguri Hina Ningyo comes as a set with the Empress doll, the Emperor doll, a display stand, and a folding screen!
The folding screen also works as a little slope, so besides displaying them, you can let the Empress and Emperor walk down it and play ◎
(The set includes small parts, so when young children play with it, please have an adult play together with them.)
The two of them walking side by side look so adorable🥰
In fact, this Donguri Hina Ningyo is finished with a clear coat only, with no coloring at all👀
The woods used are maple, walnut, zelkova, bubinga, purpleheart, and hinoki cypress.
The contrast created by the different colors of the woods themselves is truly charming!
Among Comomg's toys, which are loved for the gentle texture of wood, this one lets you feel the wood especially strongly🌳
Purpleheart (center of the photo) is known for its purple color. This is also the natural color of the wood! I love its vivid color!
Today, hina dolls are mostly thought of as something to display, but
one of their origins is girls' doll play, so the Hinamatsuri festival is actually closely connected with play!
(I didn't know this myself until we started making Donguri Hina Ningyo...!)
Don't just display them—have lots of fun playing with them together with your children!
We're grateful to say that the 2024 Donguri Hina Ningyo are almost sold out. (As of March 2)
Pre-orders for the 2025 edition will open in November 2024, so if you're interested, please keep checking back!
